at the Chinon campsite, we adapt the activities of young holidaymakers

“It’s super hot, that’s why I hydrate well, put on my cap and put on some sunscreen”, smiles Louna, on vacation at the Chinon campsite from Monday July 11 to Wednesday July 13, with about twenty other children, under the eyes of four facilitators from the Rural Families association. These latter adapted the schedule a little to the heat wave hitting Touraine.

The swimming pool, as it’s one of those heats

The water games have imposed themselves in the calendar of these three days. “It can be activities like trying to fill buckets as much as possible and moving them from point A to point B, or putting a cup on your head without spilling waterexplains Rémi, the camp leader. In the end, what matters is that they are refreshed and wet.”

Of course, there is the swimming pool. “Since it’s one of these heats it does us good and we have fun like crazy”loose Louis, a few minutes before starting a water fight. “We take advantage of it because we are not in water restrictions, the goal is that they have fun”summarizes the head of the camp.
