(London) At least one person infected with the Omicron variant of the coronavirus has died in the UK, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday.
“Unfortunately, Omicron generates hospitalizations and it has been confirmed that at least one patient has died (from contamination) with the Omicron variant,” said the Tory leader during a visit to a vaccination center in London , while relying on a massive vaccine booster campaign to curb the spread of the variant.
