Four people were killed and seven others were injured in Tel Aviv (Israel) in an automatic weapons attack carried out by two shooters on Tuesday, October 1. These latter were “neutralized on site”said the Israeli police. According to surveillance camera images broadcast by Israeli television, the two shooters opened fire while getting off a tram at the Sderot-Yeroushalaïm stop, in the Jaffa district.

The same evening, Iran fired missiles towards Israel, where warning sirens sounded across the territory, after the army called on the population to prepare for an attack “on a large scale”. In Tehran, the official IRNA news agency announced firing by Iran of “missiles on Tel Aviv”without any other details. Interceptor missiles were fired by the Israeli army above Jerusalem against projectiles coming from the east visible in their light trails.
