At least 60 people were unknowingly stung in nightclubs before feeling unwell or fainting. The nature of the product injected is not known. An investigation is underway, Thursday, April 21.
In Grenoble (Isere)seven people (five women and two men)aged 17 to 22, filed a complaint after receiving injections in a nightclub on the weekend of April 16 and 17. “I was inside and suddenly I felt terrible”explains, Zoe Stoppiglia20 years old, a plaintiff who suddenly felt unwell. His doctor detected traces of sting on his body, but the product administered is not yet known.
At least 60 similar cases have been identified in France in Grenoble (Isere)Beziers (Herault)Nantes (Loire Atlantique). In Caen (Calvados)a handrail was dropped after a student carnival. “TAll I know is that it was injected into them without their knowledge and they realized it by the sting sensation, by the hematoma that formed“, indicates Nathan Courbet, president of the carnival of the students of Caen. “Only a judicial inquiry will determine the nature of the product.”according to Sonia fibleuilspokesperson for the National Police.
