Thursday July 14, at least 23 people lost their lives in a Russian strike, in Vinnytsia, in central Ukraine. The streets were crowded.
The city of Vinnytsia (Ukraine), yet far from the front line, was targeted by a Russian attack on Thursday July 14. Cars were burnt out. A commercial building, gutted by the strikes, also caught fire. At least 23 dead and dozens injured are to be deplored. “Most of the injured and dead are people who were in the street”explained Denis Monastyrsky, the Ukrainian Minister of the Interior.
Ukraine has denounced an act of terrorism. President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for the establishment of a special tribunal to investigate the Russian invasion. Kremlin strikes have been relatively rare in western and central Ukraine in recent weeks. But the war is now spreading and raging around cities like Mykolaiv (Ukraine), near the Black Sea, hit by massive missile attacks this week.
