Lyssytchansk (Ukraine) is the last rampart in the Donbass. The city in the east of the country is devastated. The pro-Russian forces are advancing ineluctably and claim to control half of the city. For their part, the Ukrainians claim to resist and keep them on the periphery.
In the south of Ukraine, in Odessa, incessant bombardments hit this strategic port city. On the night of Thursday June 30 to Friday July 1, a 9-storey building was targeted. About 150 residents were surprised in their sleep when a Russian missile landed around 1:00 a.m. Dozens of apartments were pulverized. Firefighters are still looking for survivors, amid the rubble.
