“We apologize for the impact on today’s traffic.” At least 14 Eurostar trains are canceled due to a track closure near London, the company announced on Saturday December 30. According to the British agency PA, trains were canceled due to flooding of a tunnel in the south of England. ITV News broadcasts footage of a major water leak in a railway tunnel.
The PA agency adds that they have been deleted “until the end of the day” while heavy rains are still expected. According to the company’s website, only one train is currently maintained in the morning in both directions of traffic. On social networks, travelers report on the situation from Saint-Pancras station in London.
London St Pancras International is in chaos.

These cancellations, which occur during one of the busiest weekends of the year, will strand thousands of passengers.
