War in Ukraine: Russian strike on hotel in Kharkiv
In Kharkiv, Ukraine, a Russian strike on a hotel left thirteen people injured on the evening of Wednesday January 10. The establishment housed journalists. – (France 2)

Thirty civilians, including a France Télévisions reporting team, were in a hotel in Kharkiv (Ukraine) on the evening of Wednesday January 10. After 10:30 p.m., two Russian missiles hit the building. Two France 2 journalists were in the hotel corridors at the time of the explosion and were not injured. Their Ukrainian translator, for her part, received small shards of glass on her face.
Shortly after the strike, panic reigns in the corridors because the building is on fire. Most hotel guests go through a window to get out. A woman takes refuge in the hotel garage and another reassures her mother.
“Thirteen people were injured. Among them, two journalists from Turkish media: a Turkish citizen and a Georgian citizen”, declared the Ukrainian General Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram. Ten people are “hospitalized”specified the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office.

This hotel is regularly frequented by the media. On a Telegram channel, a Russian army officer claims that the establishment housed mercenaries.
