At least 13 people were killed during this triple Russian strike on Chernihiv, a large city in northern Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky protested on social networks: “This would not have happened if Ukraine had received enough air defense equipment and if the world’s determination to resist Russian terror had been sufficient”, he scolded on X. Ukraine indeed lacks the means to intercept the missiles. It urges its Western partners to deliver more and urgently. Meanwhile, emergency services are looking for survivors.
