“At home, it was hell…”, Nathalie Marquay tells the whole truth after the disappearance of Jean-Pierre Pernaut… and it’s terrible!

Wednesday March 2, Jean-Pierre Pernaut left us. The 71-year-old journalist died after a battle with illness. For several months, one of the favorite animators of the French had lung cancer.

A disappearance that has devastated millions of people across the country, fan as well as personality. Many messages have notably flourished on the web, as have testimonials from relatives or former colleagues on TV sets.

After posting a black background on instagramhis wife, Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut spoke to the cameras of TF1 to deliver a moving testimony.

To our Gala colleagues, the former Miss France made an equally touching revelation in which she recounted the suffering of the presenter, who had not wanted cancer, diagnosed in May 2021, he did not want to return the public information, until its operation in July.

To tell you the truth, when we learned about this cancer, Jean-Pierre and I were dropped. Shockedshe remembered. And I was afraid of being polluted by the presence of the paparazzi. He was in hospital for three weeks in July and I wanted him to be quiet. In times like these, we need calm. Jean-Pierre experienced three weeks of suffering on his bed and even when he got home, it was hell: the painkillers didn’t work, he lost five, six kilos even if he quickly regained them. And then, children weren’t ready to take all the press.”

One more story that is likely to move fans of JPP, still not recovered from his tragic disappearance…
