(Houston) A nine-year-old boy caught in the deadly crowd movement at the Astroworld Nov. 5 festival in Texas has succumbed to his injuries, becoming the tenth victim of the tragedy, a victims lawyer said on Sunday.
“This should not have been the outcome of a concert outing with their son, supposed to be a moment of joy,” wrote Ben Crump, representative of the families, announcing the death of Ezra Blount, who had been placed in an induced coma and was between life and death.
The child was attending American rapper Travis Scott’s concert, in which a mob killed nine other people and injured hundreds.
Dozens of complaints have already been filed against the concert organizers.
This includes rapper Travis Scott, main organizer of the festival, present on stage at the time of the tragedy.
