Cent Pour Un 06, Habitat and Citizenship, RESF 06, Citizen Roya, All Citizens! and the PCF 06 organize a big collection of school supplies before the start of the school year. These associations point to the lack of help for children from undocumented families or asylum seekers who do not receive a back-to-school allowance.
The most popular supplies are schoolbags, calculators, notebooks and pens, markers and pencils and geometry materials of all kinds. You can participate by bringing new or good condition supplies, or make a financial donation that will allow you to buy new supplies.
The supply depot will be open at the PCF premises in Nice (6 rue Balatchano) from August 23 to 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and at La Trinité (82 bd du Général de Gaulle) from August 23 to 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The distribution will then take place on Wednesday August 31 in Nice and Cannes.
Last year, 315 benefited from the supplies collected.
