(Toronto) The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for a new bullpen coach.
Major League Baseball announced on Sunday that Matt Buschmann has elected to leave the organization and is seeking new professional opportunities.
The Blue Jays also said they will be releasing their coaching staff in the coming weeks.
The 38-year-old Buschmann joined the Blue Jays in 2018 and has also served as director of pitching development since 2020.
Himself a former thrower, Buschmann was in his first experiences as an instructor.
Buschmann played between 2006 and 2016, mostly in the minor leagues. He donned the uniform in three games with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2016.
