Assessment of COVID-19 in Quebec | Stable hospitalizations, ten deaths

(Montreal) Ten other Quebecers with COVID-19 have lost their lives, according to the most recent government report, which shows a relative stabilization in hospitals.

The ten new deaths announced on Tuesday occurred two to seven days ago.

Since the start of the pandemic, 18,279 Quebecers have succumbed to the disease.

Regarding hospitalizations, the situation seemed stable in the last hours.

As of Tuesday, 1,203 patients were hospitalized, including 375 due to illness, which represents a decrease of three from the previous day.

The situation did not change in intensive care, where 33 people were still being treated, including 15 who were being treated specifically for COVID-19.

The number of cases remained relatively stable, at 436, but this data should always be taken with a grain of salt since access to screening centers is limited. Quebecers also reported 21 positive rapid tests on Monday.

On the vaccination side, 1,701 Quebecers reached out on Monday.
