Assessment of COVID-19 in Quebec | Quebec reports six new deaths

(Montreal) In its first daily assessment of COVID-19 in 2023, Quebec reports six new deaths linked to the disease that have occurred in the last 24 hours in the province.

Since the start of the pandemic, 17,700 Quebecers have therefore lost their lives as a result of COVID-19.

The number of health professionals who are in withdrawal in connection with the virus has risen to 2,738.

The Ministry of Health also indicates that 59 positive tests have been declared on the government’s online platform. However, the number of cases is probably underestimated.

Data on hospitalizations will not be updated until Thursday, while data on vaccinations are not available on Wednesday due to a technical problem.
