Quebec is reporting 715 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, as well as six additional deaths. The number of hospitalizations has decreased, however, as seven fewer hospitalizations have been recorded.
The new cases bring the seven-day daily average of new cases of the virus to 627.
A total of 198 people are hospitalized due to the consequences of the virus. Of this number, 44 patients are in intensive care.
Regarding vaccination, 91% of Quebecers aged 12 and over received a first dose of vaccine. Among them, 87% reached out twice.
