The 699 new cases indeed bring the daily average to 728. The trend is thus upward by 15% over one week.

The five more deaths bring the daily average to two. The trend is slightly lower compared to last week.

There is also a slight decrease in hospitalization in the Quebec network, ie 16 new admissions and 17 discharges. There are currently 203 patients who remain hospitalized in connection with COVID-19, including 46 who are still in intensive care, a stable figure compared to the previous day.

On the vaccination side, a little more than 5,580 additional doses were administered during the day of Monday, to which are added 426 vaccines given before November 22 which had not yet been counted. Including citizens vaccinated outside Quebec, approximately 13.7 million doses have been given to Quebecers since the start of the pandemic.

On Sunday, the authorities carried out 22,723 screening tests, a relatively stable figure if one relies on the weekly average in this chapter.

Remember that since Tuesday morning, it is now possible for Quebecers who wish to make an appointment to have their children aged 5 to 11 vaccinated against COVID-19, on the Clic Santé platform. Children are the last unvaccinated group in the population in the province. The launch of this new step, made possible by the authorization of Health Canada last Friday, risks boosting the daily number of doses administered.
