Back in Belgium, the country where he is from and where he lives, the 38-year-old artist can count on the unfailing support of Coralie Barbier, his wife since 2015. This Thursday, June 1, 2023, the one who is a stylist by profession confides in the columns of “Ciné Télé Revue”. From the outset, she is questioned about the state of health of the father of her son: “It is to him that it is necessary to ask it. I do not want to answer in his place.” she then replies.
The young woman then shares her optimism despite the situation: “It’s part of the changes you may have to make in a career. Taking care of yourself is a success. If the concerts of Stromae were first postponed, they ended up being canceled, which today constitutes a considerable shortfall for the singer and his teams. The Belgian magazine Soir Mag has just revealed that Stromae should be paid €500,000 per concert, i.e. a shortfall of €23 million for the 46 dates scheduled and having been canceled.
