Asked about the overexposure of her two children on social networks, Jessica Thivenin mentions for the first time, “sexual predators”!

This Sunday, September 17, 2023, France 5 broadcast a poignant documentary entitled Children under influence: overexposed in the name of like. Directed by Elisa Jadot, this work highlights the dramatic consequences of social networks on minors and underlines the dangerousness of their exposure to “sexual predators” active on the Web. For the occasion, Marseillais and famous influencer followed by more than 6 million people on Instagram, shared her perspective on these crucial issues.

Mother of a one and a half year old little girl named Leewane and a 3 and a half year old boy named We don’t imagine that there are weird people on social networks. We don’t think about it. I don’t feel like we’re putting our kids in danger because they appear in our stories playing soccer and kicking a ball.”she believes.

“You can’t disappear overnight”

For “to have the choice”. “TYou can’t disappear overnight. […] We do all this, we share our lives so we can earn money and protect our family. I don’t think I’ll use my children to do my business. On the other hand, I share my life because I have always shared my life before my children, after my children and I will do it later when my children may no longer be here. The only thing that could make me quit tomorrow is if there’s no more Instagram and no more Snap.”

Happy with her success, Jessica Thivenin also hopes that her children be proud of what she and her husband have accomplished. “Because we didn’t have the chance to grow up in the same conditions.” she assures, determined to continue her activities.
