At the Panazol media library, more than a hundred people, players, staff, elected officials, and supporters, gathered this Monday evening to watch the draw for the 32nd of the Coupe de France live. Before the announcement, all hopes were high, and many hoped for a Ligue 1 club against one of the small thumbs of the competition. Finally, it will be AS Vitré, a National 2 club.
Disappointment was heard in the audience, but soon everyone chose to see the glass half full: winning against Vitré would allow you to go to 16th. “We eliminated Angoulême which is playing in N2 on Sunday, and this draw allows us to reiterate our hope” says Abdelghani Moulai, one of the players. “I think it’s the draw for hope! The dream is 90 minutes away, it’s up to us to put all the necessary ingredients to make it happen.” Players and their coach must now prepare for the match which will take place on the weekend of December 18 and 19. “There is no question of taking Vitré lightly, we will welcome them properly and bring them out” says Younes Boudinar, the youngest of the players. “To arrive in 16th would be magnificent”.

Because it is Panazol who will receive for these 32nd, it remains to be seen where. For reasons of conformity, the municipal stadium cannot receive this stage of the championship, which should take place at the Saint-Lazare stadium.
