Like Castres, Albi chose Emmanuel Macron in the second round of the Presidential this Sunday. The outgoing president won 66% of the vote against 34% for Marine Le Pen. In the first round already a fortnight ago, Emmanuel Macron had collected 28% of the votes in the Tarn Prefecture ahead of the Insoumis candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon 25% and the candidate of the National Rally 17%.

The balance of power is the same at the departmental level or Emmanuel Macron also wins the Presidential match in the Tarn with 53% of the vote against 47% for Marine Le Pen. The candidate of the National Rally had nevertheless come out on top in the first round, a fortnight ago, with 25% of the vote against 23% for the outgoing president. Jean-Luc Mélenchon came third with 21% of the vote.
At the national level, the outgoing president is re-elected this Sunday with 58.2% of the vote against 41.8% for Marine Le Pen. In 2017, the gap was much greater since Emmanuel Macron had collected 66.1% of the vote against 33.9% for the candidate of the National Rally.
