France Bleu Provence is a partner of the Arts et Festins du Monde event in Gardanne.

A craft, musical and festive event

Artisanal creations, concerts and street performances, kitchens and food-trucks in the city center.
The culture and community life department of the city of Gardanne has been organizing the “Arts and Feasts of the World” event for 22 years.
The occasion of celebrate the cultures of the world, and show that cultural differences reflect the history of civilizations.

Manage my choices

Two spaces welcome you on Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight:

  • The open-air market, boulevard Carnot, boulevard Bontemps and cours Forbin where there are craftsmen and food stalls.
  • Concerts and catering terraces on the Cours de la République which includes the stage for concerts and nearly a thousand seats for eating.

Music scene programming

Friday July 1:

  • 8 p.m.: Marching Band “Calle Caribe”, a street orchestra entirely dedicated to Caribbean music.
  • 9:30 p.m.: “Faut que ça guinche” (French song), a group that is releasing its sixth album “sixth sense”. Overflowing energy and communicative good humor.

Saturday July 2:

  • 7 p.m.: Wandering with “Africa Tiekala”. The association always presents African music with new choreographies.
  • 8 p.m.: Appellation Méridionale Contrôlée (AMC). Southern swing songs. A quartet that revisits Marseille song and highlights the cultures that have influenced it.
  • 10 p.m.: Cafeteria ROJA. Barcelona pop-rock-hip-hop group that returns with a fifth album that is always more danceable and delicious.
  • 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nestor Mabiala – In the shade of the mango tree (Tale) Come and listen to proverbs, riddles that the public must decipher, stories interspersed with songs and rhythms to be repeated together. Nestor Mabiala introduces us to traditional Congolese tales: the story of Kintsiona and the old crocodile, of the orphan who married the king’s daughter, an extraordinarily rich oral heritage! (All public, from 4 years old)
