“Welcome to my daily life”: it is in these simple but strong words that host Arthur revealed that he was once again the target of violent attacks on social networks. Attacks even going as far as explicit death threats. The host thus shared a tweet from an account specializing in reporting anti-Semitic acts, which highlights the story of a blogger on Instagram who calls for the murder of the TF1 presenter.

“There are still criminals like Arthur who dare to declare “before 6/10/23, there was peace”. You deserve to be stabbed 10,000 times at the bottom of the TF1 tower”wrote the blogger, whose Instagram account was deleted by the platform, in addition to a few other insults.
An Internet user already convicted!
In addition to the suspension of her page on Instagram, the young woman was also pinned by the company that employs her, a famous mutual insurance company. On X (formerly Twitter), the company indicated “strongly condemn all types of comments inciting hatred, violence or discrimination.”“The message published today by this account, calling for murder and hatred and which allegedly came from one of our collaborators, is intolerable. From now on, all appropriate measures are taken by La Mutuelle Générale”added the company, without detailing the said measures.

For his part, Arthur announced on his Instagram account that he had filed a complaint: “Even hidden cowardly behind a nickname, anti-Semitic hatred has a face. As always, I filed a complaint. The last idiot received a 6-month suspended prison sentence… Enjoy your future custody“, he writes in this caption addressed to the young woman responsible for the threats.
Because this is in fact not the first time that the host has been the victim of attacks on social networks. Last March, the Bordeaux criminal court had thus sentenced to 6 months in prison as well as 3,000 euros in damages for moral damage to an Internet user who had made death threats towards Arthur, but also towards Cyril Hanouna. Obviously not yet enough to calm down certain malicious people on social networks.
