(Gatineau) A man and a woman from Gatineau were arrested this week in Granby in connection with the arson attack on an apartment building which claimed the life of a man on January 26, in Gatineau.

The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) specifies that Éric Dion, 41, and Caroline Dupuis-Lepage, 31, both of Gatineau, have already appeared in the Court of Quebec to face on charges of second degree homicide, arson endangering human life and conspiracy.
These suspects are known to police for minor offenses committed in the past.
Éric Dion and Caroline Dupuis-Lepage were arrested on Tuesday by patrol officers from the City of Granby Police Department for a minor offence. SPVG detective sergeants traveled to Granby to arrest them and conduct interrogations in connection with the January arson attack on rue Saint-André in Gatineau, in which Martin Rock, 43, was lost his life.
The SPVG maintains that Éric Dion and Caroline Dupuis-Lepage knew the victim of the fire.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be forthcoming.
