Loïk Le Priol, main suspect in the death in Paris of ex-rugby player Federico Martin Aramburu, will be handed over by Hungary to the French authorities “within ten days”, announced the Budapest court on Friday, March 25. The 27-year-old was arrested on Tuesday evening at the Zahony border post under a European arrest warrant, as he was about to travel to Ukraine. Speaking by videoconference at the hearing, this former activist of the GUD, an ultraviolent far-right group, agreed to his transfer to Paris.

Another man, Romain Bouvier, 31, a former student of the Parisian university Assas also active on the ultra-right, was arrested on Wednesday in Sarthe. He would also have shot the ex-Argentine international.

The day before, a 24-year-old woman suspected of having driven a vehicle belonging to Loïk Le Priol on the evening of the events, had been indicted for “complicity in murder” and placed in pre-trial detention.
