Arrest of Tatiana B., ex-girlfriend of a former rugby player whose body was allegedly found in a burned house

She had been sought for several days after the discovery of a man found burned in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Tatiana B, who would be the ex-girlfriend of the deceased, was arrested on Thursday January 4, 2024.

Tatiana B. was arrested this Thursday, January 4, 2024, as confirmed to France 3 Occitanie by the public prosecutor of Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantique), Rodolphe Jarry:“the wanted person was arrested about an hour ago”, around 2 p.m. The arrest would have taken place in Aurensan, a village in the Hautes-Pyrénées where she has strong family ties, according to the New Republic of the Pyrenees.

The Pau prosecutor indicates that he does not “communicate further while awaiting the hearings which will be carried out by the investigators”.

Woman was wanted after discovery of man found burned in the rubble of a house in the hamlet of Lesponne, in Bagnères-de-Bigorre (Hautes-Pyrénées). It would be Benjamin Arnauné, 33 years old. His formal identity must still be confirmed by an autopsy.

When contacted, the Hautes-Pyrénées gendarmerie indicated that they did not wish to communicate on the subject.
