Bomb threats in schools increased on Monday, November 13, the commemorative date of the November 13 attacks. No fewer than 22 colleges from the Lyon academy were involved, depriving thousands of students of lessons during audits, according to gendarmes. These establishments, located in the departments of Rhône, Loire and Ain, received, at 5 a.m., the same email referring to the war between Israel and Hamas, details France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. The police carried out “removal of doubts”confirmed the rectorate of the academy.
Several schools were also evacuated in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais after bomb threats. “As a precautionary measure, the students were evacuated and a resolution of doubt is underway”, specified the Pas-de-Calais prefecture. The Oscar Cléret schools in Arras and Charles Perrault in Dainville, a neighboring town, and the Bodel and Saint-Vincent colleges in Arras are affected by the evacuations. The Carnot-Gambetta school group in Arras, where Dominique Bernard was killed on October 13, also received a message but was not evacuated, according to the rectorate.
In Montpellier (Hérault), four bomb threats were noted, leading to the evacuation of two establishments, reports France 3 Occitanie. Alerts were also reported in establishments in Ille-et-Vilaine as well as in a high school in Cherbourg (Manche).
