Those who leave under the sun are well aware of the virtues of this frenzied eau-de-vie, not to say aphrodisiac. The Isautier house has made it a specialty, macerating lemon and ginger under the mellow sweetness of a particularly penetrating rum base, thank you. Not the most subtle, but terribly invigorating, especially served very chilled.
