A new wave of cyberattacks has hit “last night, around twenty Parisian schools and establishments”, via their digital work spaces, franceinfo learned on Wednesday March 27 from the Paris rectorate.

“A reporting procedure has been put in place to block accounts and report each incident”, indicates the rectorate. Establishments systematically carry out “resolved doubts – sometimes with dog brigades – to ensure the safety of students and staff”. A “message of vigilance has been sent to all school heads, school directors and inspectors”adds the rectorate.

Since March 21, many schools have been affected by threats of attack in France, particularly in Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France. Threatening messages are posted via digital workspaces, sometimes with violent videos (notably of beheadings, during the March 21 wave). Middle schools, high schools and schools are concerned.
