Arnaud Ducret was questioned by our colleagues from Gala. The opportunity for the actor and comedian to look back on his very unique journey. “I was a waiter in a restaurant for two and a half years I sold clothes in a store, I delivered supermarkets in the morning, I did nightclub entertainment where I threw gifts at people dancing on a counter”, he said. He added : I was a dubber for porn movies. I went there to make money.”
Present on the set of what timeon France 2, Saturday April 8, he had gratified Léa Salamé, Christophe Dechavanne, Nawell Madani or even Bruce Toussaint with his talents on this subject.
“You learn to follow the rhythm of a film”
During her appearance on Anne Roumanoff’s program Ça fait du bien, on European 1Arnaud Ducret had detailed this period of his life. “In the afternoon I worked in a store, in the evening in a restaurant. And from time to time I dubbed porn films. I dubbed everything and everyone because there was no budget. I dubbed vocally, not physically […] You know, they don’t bother with storylines in porn movies.” He took the opportunity to explain that he was not the only actor to have started by dubbing adult films. “It was when you didn’t have internet like now where everything is visible very quickly on the net […] There are plenty of voice actors who started like that”. Michaël Youn’s sidekick has kept good memories. “You learn to follow the rhythm of a film.”
