The fourth day of the Cannes Film Festival is marked by the projection of first French film in competition. Marion Cotillard, Melvil Poupaud and Patrick Timst climb the steps to defend the film Brothers and sisters from Arnaud Desplechin.
Australian director George Miller comes to present his latest work: Three thousand years waiting for you, shown out of competition. He is accompanied by his actors Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba.
Earlier in the afternoon, the animation film crew Le Petit Nicolas – What are we waiting for to be happy? ‘Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre walked the red carpet. The two co-directors are accompanied by the voices of the film: Alain Chabat, Laurent Lafitte and the young Simon Faliu. But also by Anne Goscinny, daughter of René Goscinny who signs the screenplay. Around them, a hundred 8-year-old schoolchildren from Cannes, dressed in white, excited as if on their first day of school.
