He is definitely unbeatable. Undefeated in major competitions since 2020, the Swede Armand Duplantis confirmed his supremacy on Monday, August 5, at the Stade de France. Already crowned in Tokyo, the 24-year-old pole vaulter retained his crown in the sky of Saint-Denis by settling the competition at 6m ahead of the American Sam Kendricks (5.95m) and the Greek Emmanouil Karalis (5.90m). Before setting a new Olympic record at 6.10m on the first attempt to erase the record set by the Brazilian Thiago Braz in 2016 (6.03m).
