Armand Duplantis breaks the pole vault world record again, with a jump of 6.23 meters

Seven months after clearing 6m22, the Swedish prodigy broke the pole vault world record for the seventh time, in Eugene.

Man cannot fly, but Mondo Duplantis is not far from it. At 23, the Swedish phenomenon once again broke the pole vault world record on Sunday, September 17, during the finals of the Athletics Diamond League in Eugene (United States).

On his first attempt, the double world champion and reigning Olympic champion cleared a bar at 6 meters 23. This is the seventh time that he has raised the world record bar, seven months, after having done so at Clermont-Ferrand.
