Arlette was also selected in official competition at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival, which is in full swing until Sunday. The comedy starring Maripier Morin, Gilbert Sicotte, David La Haye, Paul Ahmarani and Benoît Brière looks at the rise of a director of a fashion magazine to the post of Minister of Culture and takes us into the turf wars which take place behind the scenes of the National Assembly.

Arsenault & Sons is a thriller (starring Guillaume Cyr, Pierre-Paul Alain, Karine Vanasse, Luc Picard, Micheline Lanctôt and Julien Poulin) about a close-knit family who live off illegal hunting and have been ruling the law for several generations in a small village in the Lower of the river. The return of the cadet will test the harmony of the clan and the future of their operations.

Arsenault & Sons was released in theaters last June in Quebec, while we can see Arlette in theaters since August 5.
