(Scottsdale) Barrett Hayton agreed to a two-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old Ontarian had 10 goals and 24 points last season in 60 games.
The six-foot-one, 207-pound forward was drafted fifth overall in 2018 by Arizona.
“Barrett is a talented young player who made great strides last season,” said Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong.
Hayton had five power-play points in 2021-22.
On March 8, he had three assists in a 9-2 win at Detroit.
The Peterborough athlete has 13 goals and 31 assists in the NHL in 94 games.
The Coyotes will begin the regular season on October 13 in Pittsburgh.
The team will play in Montreal on October 20.
