Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. According to several media, the average annual value of the contract is 4.3 million US.

Crouse, 25, set a career-high last season with 20 goals in 65 games. He added 14 assists.

“He’s a big, strong and talented power winger and we’re glad he has an important role in our future,” Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong said in a statement.

2015 Florida Panthers first-round pick, 11e in total, Crouse had 56 goals and 54 assists in 346 NHL games, all with the Coyotes.

He moved from the Panthers to the Coyotes in August 2016 along with Dave Bolland and in return for second- and third-round picks.
