Why did you hide, for so long, that you had recourse to a sleeve ?
Because the sleeve is absolutely not what heals. There are a lot of people who have sleeves and who do not lose weight, or who regain everything. I refused to be the spokesperson for a system that may not work. With bulimics in any case, since the sleeve does not work on them if they are not treated before. The stomach is reduced but you can eat in small quantities throughout the day. And if you’re bulimic, and you continue like that… you don’t lose weight.
You also tried the gastric balloon but the experience was not pleasant…
Catastrophic, even. I suffered martyrdom. To swallow it, you have to drink 2 liters of water, it’s a nightmare. It was disgusting. And I was hospitalized the same evening to put me under sedatives. I tamed my gastric balloon after a week maximum. So I lost weight, yes, but I very quickly regained… hell.
