“When I started to lose weight I received so many messages from people in pain that I confessed that I had been bulimic“, she explains, on February 21, 2022, in the columns of the magazine TV Star. And if she started having food-related crises, it’s because Ariane Séguillon was hiding a terrible malaise. She was keeping a family secret to herself, and it all came crashing down when her little brother Benjamin was diagnosed with cancer. He has, unfortunately, succumbed to the disease since time.

As for this family secret, Ariane Séguillon finally agreed to get rid of it, in her book, but also with Star TV. “My brother was repeatedly raped as a child by one of our paternal uncles, she admits. I remember one night seeing him and my brother come out of a room. And I have in mind the lost look of my brother that I never saw him”. “I forgave them but I don’t forget”, she adds, thinking of the silence of her family members who knew about it.
