(Buenos Aires) The Argentine federal prosecutor’s office requested on Wednesday the indictment of former president Alberto Fernandez (from 2019 to 2023) for “assault and battery with aggravating circumstances” against his ex-partner Fabiola Yañez.
The requisition, of which AFP has a copy, follows a complaint filed last week by Fabiola Yañez, 43, against Alberto Fernandez, 65, with whom she lived for about ten years. Since the complaint, the former president has already been banned from leaving the country.
