Saturday March 18, 2023, Léa Salamé hosted a new issue of What an era! on France 2. Among his guests, Pierre Lescure and Michel Denisot. The two men found themselves in turn facing photos of personalities to whom they had to ask questions. Omar Sy, Booba, Michel Houellebecq, Yann Barthes, Audrey Hepburn. “I would say to him, Mrs. Audrey Hepburn, do you agree to take as your husband, Mr. Pierre Lescure here present”dropped the columnist of C to you on France 5. Moreover, he was given two magazines from Paris Match with the cover of the Hollywood icon of the 60s. “That’s a real gift”he said moved. “She had an Oscar and this woman is still today used immediately on the cover of a book or a newspaper to evoke elegance, grace and humanity”.
A few seconds later, Pierre Lescure found himself face to face with a photo of Catherine Deneuve with whom he lived a romance between 1983 and 1991. “Are you going to make up your mind to give me back my toothbrush”, he launched, making the audience laugh. Despite their separation, more than 30 years ago, the two former have remained very close.

In July 2021, on European 1the former president of the Cannes Film Festival faced Michel Denisot in the show Icons. He took the opportunity to talk about his ex, in very complimentary terms. “The happiness that I had – beyond rubbing shoulders with and living with this extraordinary actress, because she has one of the most extraordinary filmographies in the history of French cinema – is that I have rarely seen someone ‘one so rooted in life’.
