Some campaign posters for the early legislative elections leave doubt. Are they authentic or are they fabrications? France Télévisions disentangles the true from the false.
The legislative election campaign has just been launched, and surprising posters are multiplying on social networks. But are these campaign posters authentic? They are indeed false.
On a poster of the Union of Rights, Éric Ciotti, Jordan Bardella, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, and Marion Maréchal appear side by side, associated with the Reconquête logo. However, the head of the European list of Eric Zemmour’s party can no longer claim to be part of the movement, because she has been excluded.
On the side of the New Popular Front, we find an avalanche of new candidates, who in reality are not candidates. This is the case of rapper Kery James, Daniel Cohn-Bendit and influencer Maeva Ghennam, who do not introduce themselves, but appear on clearly parodic posters, with approximate spelling. Sometimes it’s more complicated: certain posters are in public places, even though they should never have been there.
