This year, the semi-final of the Women’s Champions League will pit two major French clubs with impressive records against each other. On one side the Parisiennes (female PSG), who have been vice-champions 11 times of France. On the other, the Lyonnaises (OL women), the most successful team in the competition European flagship with no less than 8 Holy. Stunning figures, especially compared to the men’s list: only Olympique de Marseille has won the Champions League, and that was in 1993.
