On the stalls of a market in Ivry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne), customers are watching for the first French seasonal fruits. It’s a slightly higher price that sometimes makes you think. “I buy mostly French if the prices suit me. According to a primeur, French products are always more expensive at the start of the season, but the difference decreases during the summer.
All fruit is expensive
This year, all fruit is expensive, regardless of provenance. “Usually, the price difference is from simple to double”specifies the primeur Marwane Abdelmoumene.
