ARDESCA, the Aubenas climbing club, in the south of Ardèche

The club ARDESCA was created over 30 years ago by a few passionate climbers.
In 2020, it had around 400 young and adult members, with almost equality between men and women.
It is affiliated with the FFME (French Federation of Mountain and Climbing).
From September to June, from Monday to Saturday, possibility of climbing to the Room (SAE = Artificial Climbing Room), where 80 routes of all levels are open.
A block room is also available. There, no rope, no belay, but a huge carpet to cushion falls.
From spring, cliff trips to nearby natural sites are also offered during the week or at weekends. Some are supervised by qualified instructors.
In addition, the club offers its members other outings related to nature: canyon, mountaineering …

Opening of the room during the week from 5.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. + Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
