This is the fifth appearance of the collective of Win Butler and Régine Chassagne on the popular show, which welcomes distinguished guests every week for musical entertainment. After a remarkable passage at Coachella last weekend, Arcade Fire continues to be seen more and more, at the dawn of the publication of its new opus WE, announced for May 6.

Also remember that the group was recently announced as the headliner of the Osheaga festival on July 29, replacing the Foo Fighters.

Sequel to their album Everything Now (2017), this next disc will include the excerpt The Lightning I, II, unveiled on March 14. No other songs have been released yet.

The episode of SNL in which Montrealers will participate, broadcast on NBC, will be hosted by actor Benedict Cumberbatch.
