Montreal Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj threw down the gloves against Tampa Bay Lightning forward Tanner Jeannot on Tuesday evening.
He thus came to the defense of teammate Juraj Slafkovky.

The Habs defender was punished four minutes for this gesture.
