Apple will increase the cost of its Apple Music and Apple TV Plus services in Canada.

The price increases for both services are in the range of $1 to $3 per month, depending on the services and plan type, the tech giant confirmed.
The base price of Apple Music for a single listening account will increase by $1 to $10.99 per month. The cost of accessing the Apple TV Plus streaming platform will jump from $3 to $8.99 per month.
This is the first time that Apple has raised the prices of its services in Canada. The company says Apple Music’s price increase is linked to higher licensing costs for streaming rights.
The decision comes at a time when many major streaming platforms are looking for ways to boost revenue amid inflation and rising film and TV production costs.
Similar price increases are planned by Apple internationally, especially in the United States.
Meanwhile, the price of Apple One, a bundled subscription plan that adds Apple Arcade and iCloud storage, plus news and fitness video options, will increase in Canada by at least $3. .
