Auger-Aliassime, 10e world racket, will therefore have the opportunity to get their hands on a second title in two weeks, after his victory last Sunday in Florence. If won, it would be his third career title.
It’s 22-year-old American Sebastian Korda, 36e world, who will face him on Sunday. The two players will be facing each other in their third career. Everyone came out a winner once.
Their last confrontation dates back to last April, when the American had the upper hand in two sets in the quarter-finals of the Estoril Open in Portugal.
