The lawyer Antoine Vey, former partner of Eric Dupond-Moretti, is targeted by an investigation by the Paris Bar Association after accusations of moral or sexual harassment from collaborators, learned France Télévisions from a source close to the file, Thursday, March 30, confirming information from Release.

“I cannot allow such allegations to be made. I deny them and will establish the facts”, replied Antoine Vey, contacted by France Télévisions. “I concede that I am a demanding lawyer, because we operate in a context where we owe our clients total commitment, high availability and the protection of their interests”, he added.

Allegation of sexual harassment

“I am waiting to quickly have the opportunity to explain myself to the Council of the Order, calmly and contradictorily. I denounce the shocking methods used”said the one who was associated with Eric Dupond-Moretti before his arrival at the head of the Ministry of Justice in July 2020.

In a long survey published Thursday, the daily Release claims to have collected around twenty testimonies on the behavior of the lawyer within his firm, presented as “a whirlwind of mockery, bullying, injunctions – very often contradictory –, humiliations.” The daily also mentions sexual harassment and in particular “hands on thighs imposed” to a former colleague. These “behaviours have undermined professional confidence and weakened health” victims, according to Release.
