End of the suspense. While the XV of France made its comeback in Marcoussis, a debate fueled the conversations in the corridors: who will be the captain of the Blues for the three matches of the Autumn Nations Series 2021? In the absence of the usual captain Charles Ollivon, victim of a cruciate ligament rupture last June, coach Fabien Galthié had to appoint an interim and he did so on Monday, October 25. From the height of his 25 years and 32 selections, Antoine Dupont is the lucky winner.
So far, several names have been circulating: those of the experienced Gaël Fickou, Grégory Alldritt, Julien Marchand but also Anthony Jelonch, captain during the Australian tour in July.
